Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION Key Position within Materials Area responsible for developing the monthly master production plan which must be consistent with the plant capacity and the sales forecast, with the objective of satisfying customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory. Responsible for maintaining a 95% OTP and FR. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Developing and providing the plant with a monthly production plan consistent with the plant capacity and sales forecast. Responsible for overseeing production scheduling and orders manufacturing performance to secure “On Time Delivery”. Primary Contact for Customer Service to address orders and forecast changes. Make delivery plans to Customer, which involve material shortages analysis and capacity analysis. Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan, identify gaps and drive solutions, including metric on production performance to the request production schedule. Manage and lead the planners to archive a proper order scheduling to support customer requirements and production needs. Solve critical problems and provide directions to come up with solution. Pull systems implementations (Kanban, ROP, etc). Inventory, Support Inventory targets through the monitoring of FG inventory levels at the distribution centers to ensure high service levels and optimum inventory levels. Defines with Supply Chain Management, the strategy and department goals and objective, KPI’s and improve projects. Attend metrics meetings with the team and management to review performance. Work closely with production personnel on accountabilities and production issues. Use knowledge and experience of process flow to provide a useful resource to Materials on ERP and business system issues. Report Key metrics as required. #LI-MA1 Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE MRP knowledge system (MAPICS, AS400). Strong knowledge and application of planning management concepts, practices, CIF principles, Kanban methodology. Skilled in use of Excel. Power Point and inventory planning tools. Fluent English. Experience and extensive knowledge of planning, additional Materials / Supply Chain. Experience as MPS, Planner or Production Control within Supply Chain or Materials Function. Strong experience in working with large work order volume in multiple production lines. CRITERIA POSITION Strategic thinking, excellent organization and planning skills, ability to analyze complex customer needs considering various scenarios, predict material and capacity needs. Team leading experience, to lead teams to ensure discipline, coach and develop employees. OTHER REQUIREMENT PREFERENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Administration/ Industrial Engineering or equivalent. 5-7 Year of demonstrated relevant experience in MPS, Planner or Production Control. Communications skills to work with people at all levels.
