Eaton’s Power Distribution and Control Assemblies Division is currently seeking a Master Scheduler to join our team. This position is based in Wilsonville, OR. Position Overview: The Master Scheduler is responsible for production scheduling activities, loading the factories to best achieve the customer’s requirements while managing factory capacity and inventory levels for a specified group of products for the Power Distribution and Control Assemblies (PDCA) Division. In this function you will: Maintain master schedule accurately to generate a valid production schedule and drive material requirements accordingly Actively participate in SIOP process. Evaluate changes in future demand and adjust forecast as required to achieve a balance between maximizing customer satisfaction and maintaining optimal inventory levels Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, and Engineering teams to understand and strive to meet customer expectations Work with Manufacturing teams to ensure that the production plan and customer requests are fulfilled Produce various weekly and monthly reports to provide vital information to management Maintain master data integrity for the five product lines Provide timely communication to both internal and external customers related to order status including advance warnings of shipping delays and rescheduling notices Make decisions related to production priorities and expedites based on the overall business and customer needs. You will adjust forecasted weekly capacity and product mix. Track major project milestones and key job characteristics of released and planned releases of orders to provide accurate forecasting information Show the highest level of responsibility and accountability for OTD (On Time Delivery). Work with Supply Chain Supervisor and Plant Manager to improve overall plant metrics Lead and participate in Lean Planning efforts to tightly align supply to demand throughout the plant, focusing on work order integrity, production center load, finite schedule attainment, and WIP inventory reduction. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Planning, or a combination of those functions Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within a 50-mile radius of the Wilsonville, OR facility will be considered. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university with 3+ years of experience in Supply chain and/or Manufacturing, specifically within planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment Experience with MRP/ERP systems Proficient in MS Excel, Advanced knowledge required APICS CPIM Certification or other supply chain certification Position Criteria: Ability to present data effectively to support recommendations regarding production plan/master schedule Experience with Microsoft Office A good understanding of the manufacturing processes Basic understanding of production routings, product costing, order entry, and typical supply chain functions. Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and tool sets as they relate to production scheduling and materials management. Why work at Eaton?
