Job Description
Eaton’s CRDS Residential Division is currently seeking for a Material Assistant to join our team. This position is based at our Haina facility PRIMARY FUNCTION: Execute report related to the supply chain activities that could guaranteeing the supply of materials and inventory level to provide service to the MCB assembly plant. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Support with the implementation of Engineering changes (ECO), ensure the adjustment / management of new parts with suppliers and verify that the new parts are used Serve as an expert in reporting for inventory visibility reports Work together with buyers in updating information required from suppliers for the constant updating of the database health. (lead time/capacity/MOQ). Keep control and prepare metric reports for the department Support in the implementation and maintenance of Lean / MESH tools Support continuous improvement projects individually and as a team with materials, finance and manufacturing Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS): Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator. Assist to all EHS training assigned. Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s degree student (last cycle or 90% of credits completed) in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar careers. Minimum two (2) years of clerical experience; or six (6) months in supply chain management roles of manufacturing environment (materials, production scheduling, customer service or logistics). Bilingual (English (60%) /Spanish) PC knowledge, Microsoft Office, AS400, Windows, Power BI.
