The Material Control Intern supports Launch Project Leads and Material Planners with projects, reporting, and any additional tasks.

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

• Steer the internal Logistics Gemba process. 
• Support the development implementation of Supplier Gemba together with Finance.
• Logistics 2021 Target Agreement and Project Target Picture. 
• Support in VPS COC to create Logistics VPS target picture. 
• Support implementation and development of Work Organization structure in Logistics. 
• Development of Logistics KPIs for LDL, E/E, BCC. 
• Steering the weekly TOP flop list. (handover from current intern). 
• Assists with Obso tracking, E/E flashing status, EO tracking and analysis for Logistics. 
• Development of Power BI tools for Flashing Status.
• Support our Encory (consulting solutions) project.

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and technical skills (experience using Power BI, SQL, Data Lake, etc. is a bonus)  
• Microsoft Excel (experience with VLookup, Macros, etc. preferred)
• Detail-oriented
• Organized
• Effective communication skills
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
• Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT. 
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term. 
• THE WORK TERM DATES ARE (January 3rd until May 6th).
