Lead the effort in material analysis, tests, troubleshooting and providing solutions to support development and applications of new refrigerants; Be responsible for developing new methods of material testing and training technicians; Work closely with different project teams to provide professional insights on material choice and compatibility; Visit customers to do on-site investigation for customer issues and present solutions to customers; Design and conduct experiments in lab for customer issue resolution; Stay up-to-date on industry standards, government regulations and new developments in related field; Provide guidance to customers to enable the material evaluations in their own labs; Work with local and global physical property team to support FP project needs; Build network with third party testing organizations and related industry associations; Protect new ideas or discoveries with trade secrets or patents; Ensure all work is carried out under Honeywell HSE policy. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, Material Engineering or Physical Chemistry; A broad knowledge of metals, plastics, rubbers and their compatibilities with different chemicals are highly preferred; Experience in fundamental research is preferred; Proficient in experiment design to solve issues or verify assumptions; Great passion to learn new knowledge and skills; Hands on, strong execution capability and independent working capability; Detail oriented, excellent communicator of complex technical concepts; Customer focus and result-oriented; People person, team work spirit, responsible and patient; Good English communication skill.
