The Material Flow and Lineside Planning Intern is responsible for supporting preparations and evaluations runs for the next base launch.
The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Continuous updating of KPI Dashboard
- Status Reporting to Project
- MILES/LMG Plausi Checks and Maintenance
- Future Model Evaluation Run
- Dashboard Enhancements for KPI Reporting
- Forklift Free Roll-Out Plan
- Pursuing a degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
- Strong background in Excel, Access is a plus
- Detail-oriented
- Self-Starter
- Successful completion of previous internship/working student assignment within the BMW group (3-month period minimum).
- Current enrollment in Master program outside of the US or enrolled in the last semester of a Bachelor program outside of the US.
- Equivalent of 3.0 GPA.
- Must provide the following paperwork in English:
o Cover Letter
o Curriculum Vitae
o Last University Performance Record
o Relevant references and certificates.
