Position Overview The Material Handler is responsible for all shipping, receiving and material flow within the Product Service warehouse. Responsibilities Receiving of returned goods-RMA’s, verify quantities and model #’s. Inspect all returned goods noting condition and initiate disposition which includes return to stock, scrapping or internal customers. Complete all SAP transactions to receive defective (warranty) and excess returned goods including the MIGO transaction. Direct the flow of defective returned products to technicians for FMA evaluation. Communicate with Customer Service Rep on RMA’s issues. Pick and pack Refurbished and Obsolete service inventory orders. Keep an accurate inventory of refurbished and obsolete product. Ship all material for customer orders, repaired materials (RMA’s), and other miscellaneous shipments. Print labels for bags and boxes for materials. Place UPS/FedEx/DHL shipments in the loading dock for pick-up. Frequent lifting of 10-50 pounds. Adhere to all Siemens safety and work practices by keeping work area orderly at all times. Ensure work area is accessible and safe for internal employee and customer traffic. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Basic computer skills Organization and time management skills are critical Good written and oral communications skills Basic math skills Problem solving skills Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Previous material handling experience preferred, but not required SAP knowledge Organization: Smart Infrastructure Company: Siemens Industry, Inc.
