Main responsibilities

• Optimal introduction of Product Changes in view of the physical material flow including updating of related parameters in the involved material systems

• Design of the optimal usage of the available surface within the plant in scope of the In-plant Logistic flows, lay out management.

• Closely cooperate with ME, be involved in the entire process of the logistics aisle and rack design, build lean material delivery system, fully consider the following factors: the line side inventory, the transport distance of each part, space utilization. And eliminate non-value-added contents.

• Based on production material requirements planning, establishing an accurate logistic flow balance diagram.

• Develop new internal material flows within the plant.

• Drive the logistic equipment and tooling applied within the physical material flow

• Optimal design of the transport flow interface between local suppliers/Logistic Providers and the plant.

• Engineering of all off-line sequence activities performed within the plant.

• Set-up of external warehouses and sequence centers in terms of the in plant logistics interface.

• Make statistics and summary the PFEP database, maintenance the logistic system accurately and timely to ensure a rigorous description of the actual on-site logistic status.

• Timely do the estimation and change the logistic planning, invest of packaging and equipments when receiving any relevant change information (including engineering change, on line station change, stock station change, packaging change, etc.)

• Responsible for the timely broadcasting to the on-site logistics of the logistic planning requirements accurately, completely and timely.

• Secure that the main tasks as described above are fulfilled in line with VCM's cycle plan and the VCMS principles.

• Working task which is arranged by direct supervisor.

Authorized to plan and prioritize within own deliveries, but always according to overall priorities of the affected stakeholders.

Requirements and Personal qualities

• Preferably industrial or civil engineer

• Analytic mind

• English: Have good reading and writing skills, fluency in oral communication.

• Software: Skilled user of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and AutoCAD;

• Logistics tools: Deeply understanding and proficient use of logistic planning key tools, including ABC classification method, logistic flow balance diagram, PFEP, on-site planning diagram, etc.

• Creative approach of problem solutions

• Be able to work with changing priorities

• Experience in production is an advantage

• Others: Project plan scheduling and schedule control; coordination ability.
