Tasks

• Work with Planning Leader to segments the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and ECN and commercial policy. Define inventory policies according to this segmentation.
• Calculate and maintain in the SAP system the inventory parameters: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies, including the VMI/KANBAN parameter (Load unit /qty x LU/n. of signals, min/max).
• Validate Purchase Requisitions (PR) from SAP or manually create PR with specific requirement such as rework, new product trial production, etc.; Initiates purchase orders (PO) in the system according to the PR and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
• Work with Warehouse, IPU scheduler, Quality control to align planning of material with call offs and ensures the right replenishment according to production requirement.
• Track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.
• Manage SAP exception messages on a daily basis, implement expediting and re-scheduling (advance / postpone delivery) activities caused by demand fluctuation according to SAP suggestion periodically. Support cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting by warehouse.
• Analyze excess and obsolete, aging inventory. Take appropriate actions for optimizing inventory performance in collaboration with sales, Production planner, manufacturing and Procurement & Logistics.
• Identify key root causes for deviation from the inventory and implements to improve for the future.
• Create purchasing forecasting to suppliers monthly. Monitoring existing supplier’s appropriate safety stock. Collaborate with P&L Buyers and quality SQE for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, quality, lead-time, and flexibility, and initial proposal to P&L for quota allocation, 2nd source developing etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Engineering/Mechanical Engineering, Financial Analyze, Statistics field.
• 3+ years of experience in related field and Production Planning, Inventory Control, Supply Chain Management.
• Familiar with Material Planning and ERP, MS Office EXCEL, BI.
• SAP experience and certified in CPIM is preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and coordinating skill.
• Good team-working spirit and ability to work independently under strong pressure.
• Result-oriented mindset and focus on daily execution.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
