Eaton at Haina, Dominican Republic location is currently seeking for a Material Planning Manager to join our team. This role is assigned to PCD (MCCB) Haina business, with the following responsibilities: Job Summary Manage materials Planning & Customer Services function in alignment with the execution of all company policies / procedures; to provide the highest customer service & inventory levels required. Job Responsibilities Provide leadership and manage Material Planning & Customer Services areas; to ensure practices in compliance with company's procedures / policies / safety requirements, and continuous improvement focus. Ensure availability of materials in sufficient type and quantities to meet production requirements, to meet material inventory requirements. Provide timely and accurate control of flow, storage of materials, through the receiving and warehouse function. Effectively communicate, interface, and coordinate interplant activities for the areas of Materials, Customer Service. Manage and control department expenditures in conjunction with proposed budget. Analyze and resolve work related issues or problems. Develop department procedures, guidelines, and objectives. Obtain cost improvements and reductions through process changes Responsible for material planning process. Daily verification of material planning with manufacturing area Active participation in meetings & forums related to the role (Tier Meeting, Departmental team, ) Build organizational capabilities through development plans, mentoring, driving accountability, cross training, and succession planning for teams. Responsible for establishing and perform profit plan targets for the function. Daily support to Manufacturing function to overcome problems that might delay product Perform specific processes required by EBS (related to Lean tools, EQS, ProLaunch, MESH) Perform specific functions to this position describe at the Quality Manual. Monthly planning of product material. MESH Responsibilities Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection Assist to all EHS training assigned. #LI-MM3 Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic), Business Administration or similar fields. Minimum 7 years of experience in similar areas. Preferable experience at the manufacturing area Bilingual (English/Spanish) Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, AS400, VISTA Preferable. APICS Certification as a plus. Knowledge of: Lean Tools and 6 Sigma, MRP, Inventory control and Custom Laws.
