The Production Network consists of MINI Plant Oxford, MINI Plant Swindon and BMW Plant Hams Hall. Plant Oxford is one of the most modern and technically advanced car plants in the world and is the heart of MINI – while Plant Swindon is where MINI panels are pressed. BMW Plant Hams Hall manufactures small fuel efficient, low emission engines for BMW and MINI vehicles.
We are currently seeking an intern to undertake a role within our Material Planning Team at MINI Plant Oxford, starting in June 2016 for a period of 12 months.

What awaits you?
• Supplier communication and develop negotiation skills.
• Create vision of supplier holidays including collating the data.
• Development of KPI's to support assignment.
• Support technologies in controlling spares to machine allocation.
• Develop supply base through ASN adherence.
• Supplier development tools (LPMS/Ampel).
• Understanding of material planning.

• Study towards an 2:1 Undergraduate Degree in an Automotive related subject.
• Have a knowledge of logistical processes.
• Have good IT and communication skills.
• Have a keen interest in the automotive industry.
