Job Summary Manage, organize and control all activities related to the inventory in the Plant. Ensure continuous measurement of inventory classification and define actions and responsibles for improvement. Work directly with purchasing and planning co-workers to validate correct parameters are set in the system. Management and control of E&O activities to maintain values within budget. It is self-driven and adheres to all Company policies. Job Responsibilities The Materials Analyst is responsible for maintaining within control inventory level in the company. Work closely with purchasing to validate correct parameters are set in the system. Define actions to improve Healthy Stock performance. The qualified individual will be responsible for updating weekly the reports for consumptions of all item types. Responsible for validating with planning and customer service the desired inventory levels for finished goods including safety stock levels. Cycle count schedule per production line. Understanding and documentation of root causes in inventory discrepancies. Meet daily with the team to understand priorities in terms of inventory validation and parameters adjustments. Participation in new products introduction to prevent E&O and set correct parameters in the system. Annual physical inventory participation, directing inventory analysts in each product line. WIP monitoring to identify improvement opportunities by product line. Work closely with warehouses and production to improve transaction in the system and reduction of negative values . Develop strategies and liaise with operational teams on inventory accuracy. Timely reporting of key metrics. #LI-SL4 Qualifications Education level required Bachelor's degree in Business or related scientific discipline Years and area of experience required At least 3 years of experience in a closely related industry Technical knowledge Experience in a high mix, low volume production environment. APICS certification and Supervisor experience also preferred. Thorough knowledge on MRP, lead times for specific component types, internal run rates, test development lead times, machine programming lead times and complete understanding of the chronological sequence of events that must occur in order to build a product. Strong analytical capabilities, with a basic understanding of statistical analysis techniques. Soft Skills Bilingual (Spanish/English), Strong leadership, coaching and influence management skills.
