Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Continuous Improvement Materials Coordinator has responsibility of managing, planning, tracking of inventory accuracy and hold. He/she is responsible for identifying key resources for development and execution the material flow continuous improvement required for meeting with the optimal functioning of the supply chain. He/she is also responsible for approval and ensuring management for material supplier packaging. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensure inventory accuracy within warehouse and material flow through the correct execution of cyclic count processes. Assure hold inventory in objective, following up the analysis of the main causes that raise the index of this inventory. Management projects and tasks within supply chain. Supervises and control inventory in shipping area Supervises and approves material packaging specifications from suppliers Supervises and assures accomplishment of Receiving and Material Flow requirements. Maintain inventory accuracy for efficient operation. Follow up PFEP and materials strategy. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area. Promotes the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results. #LI-MM3 Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business administration or related fields required. 2 - 4-year experience in area. English – language capability, speaking, reading & writing required 80% Broad knowledge in the areas of Cycle Counts, Inventory Accuracy, PFEP, Lean Manufacturing Tools, ERP Management, Warehouse Management, Materials Projects execution. Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, coaching, and constructively deal with people at all levels. Strong leadership skills must be capable of leading the team on a continuous journey of sustained improvement. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Requires the ability to think quickly, analyze several different alternatives at the same time and make best decisions possible based on information available. It requires the use management skills, act as a liaison for associates at all levels. Develop and implement positive employee relations (Eaton Philosophy) to encourage employee involvement and to create an environment in which employees see no need for third party intervention. Proactive & results driven Broad knowledge in the areas of receiving, shipping, cycle counts, lean manufacturing. Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, coaching, and constructively deal with people at all levels. Materials Functional Competencies.
