In a transaction valued at $9B, Intel Corporation is spinning-off its NAND Memory Business—a global leader in the design and manufacture of integrated circuits and solid-state drives (SSDs) for use in data centers, personal computers, and other devices—to form an independent company that will be a subsidiary of parent company SK hynix.

The new company will be headquartered in San Jose, California, with aspirations to conduct an IPO and become a publicly traded U.S. company. As the current head of Intel’s Memory Business, Rob Crooke will lead the new company as CEO, with a number of Intel executives and senior leaders joining him to stand-up and grow the new company. The new venture combines elements of an established, successful Silicon Valley technology company with the spirit, agility, and entrepreneurial mindset of a start-up.

In addition to the U.S. headquarters and other facilities in the U.S., the company has a significant international presence in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The newly formed company will continue to lead the world in innovating new Memory technologies and will soon be the second largest NAND memory company in the world by revenue.

This is an opportunity for the right applicant to join us and help design, build, and lead the new company’s Supply Chain team. As a manager, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. Supply Chain business expert who manages a team of supply chain professionals and/or people managers for effective and efficient procurement operations, delivering on the Cost, Availability, Quality, and Sustainability objectives of the supply chain. Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost effective procurement, supply/demand, and inventory control. May also be responsible for some sourcing activities, in addition to coordinating global procurement efforts. 

Possess a Bachelor of Science degree or a Bachelor of Arts degree with minimum five years of related experience.

Additional qualifications include:

• Experience in managing/leading supply chain organization
• Knowledge or experience as a Materials Program Manager (MPM) and/or Procurement Operations
• Understanding of both planning and commodity management, or priorities for raw material or component selection
• Ability to integrate the delivery schedule of materials into product program requirements
• Effectively manage supplier performance
• Working knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (preferred mSAP*) and Bill of Material Structure tools (preferred SPEED*)
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Customer oriented, understand/follow purchasing polices as well as understand/apply good negotiation skills
• Ability to interface with multiple management levels and tailor messages accordingly while understanding impact of decisions on other organizations
• Must be able to work in fast paced, team environment
• Should assume responsibility and be proactive in taking initiative to address issues, set direction, and meet commitments
• Proficiency in Excel*, Word*, and Power Point*
