The colocation of all the engineering disciplines at Wimborne provides a unique opportunity for you to develop yourself across multi-disciplinary engineering functions. We now have an exciting new opportunity for a Materials Planning Supervisor who will lead a small team responsible for material planning including elements of demand and inventory management . As a Material Planning Supervisor you will provide direction to team members aligned to business goals to ensure service levels to both internal and external customers are met. Furthermore, you will eensure uninterrupted and efficient flow of materials, products to meet the shipment plan. Your main responsibilities: Allocate tasks and manage priorities according to business demands Manage a small team of 3-4 people Support and drive continuous improvement activities with the team Support inventory reduction programs/projects Actively participate in ECN/ Product design change board processes Provide leadership in executing supply chain improvements through Kaizen events and other methods Executes ERP transactions involving work order and forecast order management and other related transactions Drive bill of material and process changes that improve speed and component availability Support new business development and introduction Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Previous experience in a similar function such as : material planning, production planning , production controlling Previous experience in management would be a plus but it’s not mandatory as we will provide a comprehensive training for a capable individual Previous experience in Engineering environment is a must , aerospace industry experience is a plus Continuous improvement mindset- six sigma would be a plus Self starter, confident, able to deal with stakeholders at all levels Previous ERP/MRP experience Desired: What we offer to you: Competitive compensation and benefits package Excellent flexible working solutions- hybrid model, 9 day fortnight, flexible working hours We make your aspirations matter – Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible We make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term – not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University #LI-MM2 Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
