Eaton’s Power Systems division is currently seeking a Materials Supervisor Associate to join our team. This position is based at our Waukesha, WI Badger Drive facility. Primary Function: As a Materials Supervisor Associate, you will be responsible for supervising the material handling process from receipt to consumption in the plant. You will supervise the material handling and interplant transportation teams, lead physical inventory preparation/execution, and manage the warehouse. You will drive continuous improvement within the department by improving inventory accuracy, establishing and maintaining operator standard work, implementing visual controls, and establishing a 5S process. You will support the management and disposition of E&O materials. The Materials Supervisor Associate will also maintain a safe working environment and develop a strong safety culture within the team. In this role, you will: Supervise Material Handling and Receiving Teams Schedule staff & complete Kronos activities Set daily manning strategy Manage performance issues of team members Post job openings and hire as needed Lead the preparation and execution of annual physical inventory process Drive continuous improvement related to all aspects of material flow Reduce receipt to stock times Create and maintain standard work for team Establish system of visual controls support processes Implement process checks to ensure processes stay in control Develop 5S program Leverage Tier Meeting process to communicate with and engage employees Participate in Supply Chain Tier meeting to stay aligned with daily priorities Maintain the warehouse Ensure organization and safety compliance in warehouse Leverage 3rd party warehousing as necessary Implement storage strategy that is efficient and practical Drive transactional discipline to improve inventory accuracy Develop and manage cycle counting program Root cause and analyze inventory accuracy misses Drive corrective actions related to inventory accuracy issues Ensure timely delivery of materials to assembly lines as needed Support Inventory and DOH Initiatives Design process to empower team members to identify excess materials for review Execute approved E&O scrap lists When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Basic (Required) Qualifications: Associate's degree from accredited institution and at least (2) two years of manufacturing experience OR a high school diploma from an accredited institution and at least (5) five years of manufacturing experience At least (2) two years of experience in Supply Chain Proficient use of SAP transactions Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Relocation is not offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Waukesha, WI site to be considered for this opportunity. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a Business field from an accredited university SAP experience related to IM and WM inventory management Experience in supervising hourly reports CPIM Certification Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent leadership skills Proficiency in SAP ECC/MRP planning and/or purchasing modules. Demonstrated experience with Lean/Six Sigma principles utilizing: consignment, pull systems, Kanban Proven analytical, problem solving, project management and facilitation skills. Expert knowledge with Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of institutional problem-solving tools/processes such as cycle time reduction and process improvement tools: Six Sigma DMAIC methodology, Kaizen, DOE, Pareto Charts, Statistical process control, Process mapping, Tree diagrams, Root cause analysis, Analytical software programs.
