Position Description and Experience:
The Maximo Application Development Engineer will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and effective deployment and support for Intel's Maximo application.

The role will involve:
- Researching system problems and providing resolution

- Working with internal customers to gather and document software requirements
- Monitoring status and communicate status to the project team and the customer
- Participating in status meetings and produce actions items
- Troubleshoot user questions concerning the software and processes
- Supporting Quality Assurance activities on Maximo to ensure the requirements are met
- Executing configurations in Maximo
- Supporting Maximo upgrades and patches
- Conducting development activities in accordance with the software development lifecycle
- Providing support for the expansion of Maximo program capabilities;
- Supporting issues related to the Maximo application and supporting products (WebSphere)
- Developing and implementing complex solutions using internal and external application tools (e.g., workflows, automation scripts, application designer, conditional ui, etc)
- Providing task estimate to project team as needed.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering or IT related fields OR equivalent experience of at least 7 years of experience, plus:

- 5 years or more of experience as Maximo Developer

- 5 years or more of experience as Maximo Functional Lead

- 5 years or more of experience with interface development

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skill

- IBM Maximo Asset Management applications development

- MS Windows Sever Administration

- MS SQL Database Administration

- Ability to formulate complex SQL queries

-Application servers (WebSphere/Liberty)

Preferred

- Understanding of networking, load balancing, and firewall concepts.

- Security and authentication protocols - SSL, LDAP, SAML, SSO

- Object Oriented Programming language experience, preferably C# and/or Java.

- Working in agile software development environments.

- BIRT and Cognos Business Intelligence Reporting.

- Experience working with AWS or other cloud infrastructure

- Maximo Anywhere

- Knowledge of EAM best practices and deep functional expertise with Maximo applications

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
