Job Description

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be based in Shanghai-Zhangjiang.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

• Developing mechanical solutions for Consumer Electronic products from initial concept to production release.
• Designing PCBs, stand-alone chassis, modular chassis.
• Experienced with designing Plastic, sheet metal, die-casting and machined parts.
• Demonstrate working knowledge in manufacturing/part tolerances, and tolerance loop analysis.
• Regularly review and provide feedback during PCBA development process using DXF exchange.
• Effectively communicate information to transfer design for manufacturing and production process.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…

• Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering
• 6 years of experience in detailed mechanical component/assembly design.
• Successful track record designing electro-mechanical systems and electronics enclosures.
• Experience designing plastic, metal stamping/casting, machined parts.
• Experience in heatsink, fan module design, good knowledge in advanced technology in thermal.
• Must be able to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Must possess in-depth knowledge of mechanical principles and of product development, including prototyping and high-volume manufacturing.
