Job Responsibilities:
1. Participate in feasibility and risk assessment of new projects, and participate in system scheme design;
2. Prepare structural design scheme and project plan, research and develop new structure and new technology, improve product performance and quality;
3. Responsible for the detailed design of new product structure and parts;
4. Compile performance requirements of mechanical parts, make technical drawings, create product BOM and maintain;
5. Estimate and control the cost of mechanical parts, prepare the cost estimate of structural parts of new products;
6. Follow up and confirm new materials (new molds), work with electronic engineers to make prototypes and conduct relevant tests, improve product design through iteration and complete part recognition of new parts;
7. Conducted DFM (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) review with engineers of other departments, analyzed and solved structural problems in the process of mass production, and assisted in solving structural problems of mass production products;
8. Provide mechanical support for EMI, ESD, safety and reliability tests;
9. Provide technical support for the mass production of finalized products;
10. Organized and saved the data of each project, summarized the structural design, and continuously improved the quality and efficiency.
Job requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical, mold, industrial design, more than 3 years’ experience in lighting product structure design, experience in optical design is preferred;
2. Familiar with the basic process from product design to production and the responsibilities of related stages;
3. Familiar with the forming process and cost structure of plastic and hardware structural parts and related molds, familiar with the common surface treatment process of structural parts and common waterproof structure;
Familiar with European and American lighting standards such as CE and UL, familiar with related product testing requirements such as IP65, IPX4, safety and reliability, etc.
5. The structural design can fully consider the production process, and actively follow up the exception handling in different stages of product design;
6. Strong sense of innovation, good communication skills and practical ability, correct working attitude, team spirit.
7. Good spoken English is preferred.
