Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Teamwork – Considers and seeks out the impact of his/her actions within the team. Actively seeks collaboration with internal and external team members.
• CAD knowledge and rapid use of the CAD tools in generation of designs and detail drawings/models including generation of solid models.
• Produces clear designs using accepted drafting standards and conventions.
• Knowledge of product mechanics for hydraulic, mechanical, magnetic and electro-mechanical products and systems as appropriate.
• Material selection, standards and use knowledge.
• Provides assembly drawings made from component details.
• Generates full product layouts as required to aid detailing or assembly configuration.
• Assigned work is primarily quite detailed.
• Guidance from other design personnel is typical for much of the assigned work.
• Work is requested and completed with normal/moderate decision making.
• Assigned work requires the assembly of components within existing product designs and creation of new components to satisfy customer need.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience in an engineering field.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tolerancing.
• Knowledge of 3D.
• Work experience in product design.
