Tasks

• Act as system and design specialist to support the localization of the existing machines

• Prepare innovative concepts & designs of (sub)modules of the Tempress systems for improvements and cost downs. Accountable to choose design concepts and solutions, components, tools and methods

• Prepare supporting documents, all according specification

• Participate in design reviews as China local expert

• Coordinate the supporting engineers, either at Tempress/Atnet or at suppliers

• Prepare the set of drawings and parts list up to release and filing into ERP system.

• Communicate and coordinate designs with the engineering group at headquarters

• Providing guidance and requirements of Local Application in China to new product development teams (Base in Europe) in order to improve Leading time, Quality, Cost of BOM when manufacture in China.

• Continuously review and analyses the existing machine versions to replace the most effective parts in China, which include the material of parts, Mechanical standard parts,

• Technology management within assigned field. (internal and external), support function department for the verification test of test parts, supplier and related documentation

Other jobs

• Site visit of suppliers to support build and qualification of sub modules

• Site visit of customers to support in problem solving and improvements

Required Experience

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with at least 6 years or MS in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years work experience in the areas of non-standard automation equipment design, process equipment design related to Semiconductor/Solar/LED/LCD, other related industry

• Team player with very good spoken and written English

• Necessary Domestic and international travel will be needed

Education and skills

• BS or MS level education

• Demonstrated capabilities in mechanical design specifically with Solidworks software

• Proven leadership and/or project management skills

• You are used to take the initiative

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
