WHAT WE OFFER

Major tasks

• Designs and implements technical projects to enhance plant process productivity, safety, efficiency within the budget and schedule.
• Improves equipment reliability and increase plant efficiency. Supports mechanical training and lead mechanical problem solving for maintenance team.
• Works with Production and R&D as well as related regional or global technical groups to establish engineering standards and specifications, and conduct new process and new technology to increase production capacity and to produce new products to increase profits and plant utilization.
• Acts as caretaker for Management of Change Procedures for implementation and safeguard of all design changes.
• Manages operational assignments & tasks, including but not limited to, operational troubleshooting, plant trials, projects, KPIs tracking, and quality improvement initiatives to achieve production reliability and quality targets.
• Handles the review and improvement of machinery safety as well as the ergonomics for machine operations.
• Management of mechanical integrity of related device to ensure process safety.
• Management of mechanical documentation and P&ID drawings

Work relation

Internal:

Production & Maintenance Dept. – Daily engineering services, including process, equipment modification or improvement projects.
HSEQ – Execute projects in line with regulatory and company HSEQ requirements.
Procurement – Get the needed services or materials for all engineering activities.
Business Support – Controlling of expenses and capital investment.
R&D – Support new process or technology set up.
PTG – Collaboration, experience exchange and best practice sharing with other sites.

External:

3rd party service providers.

Qualifications:

• BS degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, or other technical related majors.
• At least 5 years relevant working experience of industry plant.
• Require knowledge of equipment, piping or process design and capital project execution.
• Strong self-motivation and coordination skills; can handle complex issue related to people. Willing to train and support people.
• Must be able to set priorities for self and project targets, and able to solve problems under pressure and in a timely manner.
• Capable to demonstrate flexibility for changing tasks.
• Fluent on both spoken and written English.
• A creative mind is crucial to this position.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to build rapport.
• Possess good planning, communication and co-ordination skills.
