As a Mechanical Technician for VAS Production, you will be part of the Motion (M) Business and Drives Business Line (BL), based in Beijing. ABB is the World leader in Motion (M) Business offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will be the provider of technical support for in Drives Service Product Group/ Drives Business Line (BL)/ Motion (M) Business in Beijing /China country/NAS region. Your hands-on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you not only to build strong customer relationships, but also to identify new business opportunities.

• Pre-assembling independently in factory for retrofit and upgrade project.
• Onsite installation independently for retrofit and upgrade project.
• Service R&D project cabinet assembling.
• Module repair work in repair center when no retrofit and upgrade case.
• Other tasks according to the business requirement.

• Junior College or above degree, major in Electrical Engineering, Automation or related majors is required.

• Be proficient in fundamentals of Electrotechnics.
• Excellent customer oriented behavior and good communication competence.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Familiar with basic knowledge of network.
• Familiar with ABB standard drive cabinet is an advantage.
• Low voltage electrical and high altitude work license is preferred.
