Main Duties:
(a) to formulate strategies and plans to promote the organisation; current scope of activities include stakeholder engagement, education and publicity projects, communication and informative channels;
(b) to promote public awareness of the role and functions of the organisation;
(c) to build strong rapport with the media in promoting the work of the organisation and in achieving intended PR outcomes;
(d) to handle and coordinate media enquiries, write press releases, speeches and PR-related materials in English and Chinese; and
Requirements:
(a) a recognized Bachelor degree in relevant fields;
(b) at least 15 years’ relevant experience, at managerial level preferably gained from the Government and/or public bodies;
(c) good understanding and appreciation of current affairs and in-depth knowledge of various media;
(d) excellent relationship with the media will be an added advantage;
(e) excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese and capable of delivering timely and quality written work;
(f) proactive, analytical-minded and capable of multi-tasking; and
(g) able to work independently and under pressure and a good team player.
