Job Description

KPI Metrics:

Client satisfaction – based on TRR or any other relationship survey results

Cowork with Groupm functional team to deliver strategy and innovation on ecommerce and programmatic area to serve key clients

Support SP team to develop new business

Help to grow Programmatic/Ecommerce revenue – More spending and service fee


Reporting of the role:

This role reports to the MediaCom performance lead. This role needs to take care of junior team members in the team providing training to them, give positive influence to the team, meanwhile acting as key contact window for clients.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Decent experience and knowledge in Programmatic/Ecommerce business to support team lead and help rest of the team to translate client’s programmatic and ecommerce needs and requirements into actionable media strategy across Ecommerce platform, include but not limited to Taobao, Tmall, DJ, 1号店; and also need your contribution on the programmatic strategy and plan.
  • Connect with GroupM eCommerce units in strategy level to deliver integrate media solution to key client
  • Cowork with GroupM programmatic unit to conduct better strategy, eventually deliver best results
  • Build trust relationship with day-to-day client contacts and secure/uplift client’s satisfaction
  • Support team leader to explore new opportunities of programmatic/ecommerce revenue and margin growth


Tasks & Measurement:

In three months:

Good understanding of the agency portfolio and key clients, and build up the knowledge base across programmatic and ecommerce

Good relationship with internal team, and key client

In six months:

Solid connection with day-to-day contacts within the client and agency organizations

Deliver expertise to support SP team and functional team.

In 12 months:

Supply team with actionable strategic thinking

Help to explore revenue/margin growth areas

Day-to-day contacts appreciation (internal and external)

What you will need:

  • More than 5 years’ experience in Programmatic/Ecommerce or search in agency
  • Good knowledge and experience in the operation of TMall or JD platform, or familiar and professional programmatic-buy
  • Good communication skills (Client service experience will be a plus)
  • Can present, read and write in English
