The purpose of the role is to represent the affiliate’s medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned products portfolio in Atopic Dermatitis therapeutic area. Deliver medical / scientific expert advice to external and internal customers, including scientific exchange and professional relationship development with key external experts. Provide medical / scientific input into Medical Affairs strategies for the affiliate Medical department and for the Brand teams. Main Responsibilities: Develop and maintain in depth knowledge for Atopic Dermatitis therapeutic area, including responding to requests for scientific/technical information. Build and maintain professional and credible relationships with external experts and academic centers. Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals individually or in groups (meetings, clinical sessions, etc.). Screen relevant literature and other information from relevant scientific societies meetings and conferences and develop summaries of key messages for use within the company. Deliver training to internal customers; develop and update relevant training materials. Implement Medical Research projects (non-interventional studies) and support IIS. Ensure the medical/scientific content is correct and fully compliant with policies and procedures – responsibility for the development of medical education materials and review & approval of promotional materials. Act as an integral member of local Brand teams and the affiliate Medical organization. Qualifications Medical Degree or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or higher. Experience in medical affairs position of at least 3 years (experience in dermatology/allergology areas will be considered as advantage) Identifies and works effectively with external experts to develop, validate and enhance the scientific platform Drives strong, impactful communications with internal and external stakeholders based on a foundation of scientific and clinically relevant knowledge Thinks creatively and competitively to inform the integrated evidence generation plan; recommends effective and efficient evidence generation tactics Combines deep scientific knowledge with clinical expertise when contributing to the publication planning process Works collaboratively to deliver joint goals, resolving potential organizational barriers as needed Thinks ‘beyond the deck’, considering delivery of presentations, anticipating questions and developing potential answers Sound judgment, strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to get things done. Demonstrated strong sense of urgency.
