Medical Advisor Baltic countries for oncology/haematology, location Estonia

For Amgen Baltics organization we are looking for a Medical Advisor in field of oncology and haematology, based in Estonia. The person will work in an international cross-functional team and will report to Medical Lead Baltics located in Lithuania.

In this role you will be the local content expert for the product(s), co-leading development of local brand strategies and supporting execution of those strategies to maximize Amgen's value proposition covering inline and pipeline assets across our extensive and innovative haematology oncology portfolio: https://www.amgenpipeline.com/pipeline/.

Responsibilities:

  • Medical and scientific expertise
  • Product(s) lifecycle management
  • Leading and developing local medical strategy and medical activities for the product(s) in accordance with internal and external regulations
  • Therapeutic area and product specific medical training
  • Ensuring consistency of medical content and scientific messages across various tools and materials
  • Management of internal and external relationships within area of responsibility

Key activities:

  • Identify, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future key opinion leaders, scientific experts, study groups and study sites
  • Engage with key external stakeholders and organisations for strategic discussions
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders in development and execution of local product(s) lifecycle management plans
  • Work with Value and Access team to ensure optimal patient access to our products
  • Discuss scientific value messages, clinical outcome and patient benefits with opinion leaders
  • Participate/conduct advisory board meetings and/or expert panels
  • Provide medical expertise for pipeline products and for health economy and reimbursement requests
  • Ensure preparation, implementation and completion of Amgen sponsored studies
  • Review of scientific and promotional materials


We are looking for a person with

  • Medical education (university degree) and/or deep scientific expertise in oncology and/or haematology
  • Experience of minimum 2 years in area of oncology and/or haematology
  • Medical affairs experience, gained within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology company
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development, product lifecycle and commercialization process with understanding of other functions including, but not limited to clinical operations, commercial, regulatory, and medical affairs
  • Experience in local healthcare environment
  • Network of customer contacts in oncology and/or haematology
  • Experience with clinical study management and conduct
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team
  • Planning, prioritization and plan execution
  • Strong communication, presentation and digital skills
  • “Can-do” attitude and innovative ideas
  • Fluency in oral and written English and Estonian
