About Position:
The primary function of this position is to engage and build strong links with key external medical experts in the designated therapeutic field(s), through developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the therapy area and communicating and discussing both the depth of science behind CSL’s medicines and develop partnerships to facilitate the quality use of our medicines. This position also takes the role to assist Associate Director/ Director of Medical Affairs to development, building and bridging scientific knowledge, medical expertise and insights with the strategic objectives of the business in the country, which include (but not limited to) provide medical review, medical information service, medical training for commercial operation team and external customers acts.
In addition, this position acts as Deputy Safety Officer for Greater China (China & Taiwan) to support LSO, Greater China (China & TW). For details, please refer to the LSO/RSO Position Description SAF_PDN_029.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring actions comply with CSL’s Code of Responsible Business Practice, policies, SOPs, guidelines and relevant local laws and regulations.
2. Work collaboratively and proactively with MKT to assist Associate Director/ Director, Medical Affairs for the development and implementation of strategic medical, scientific and relationship management plans that align with business objectives
3. Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with nationally key opinion leaders pertinent to the Company assigned products through medical program or contact
4. Develop and maintain a full scientific, medical and commercial understanding of the Company assigned products and therapeutic area utilizing the CSLB information sources and scientific literature.
5. Provide professional, scientific, academic medical support to MKT for company sponsored nationally medical congresses/ symposiums.
6. Handle the request of investigator initiated studies from HCPs and facilitate consideration, submission, communication of proposals for IIS.
7. Provide medical review for product educational materials and activities to ensure that are aligned with the relevant codes of practice and regulation.
8. Provide up-to-date scientific information of the company assigned products and therapeutic area through medical training/educational programs to relevant stakeholder (e.g. Product Education Department, MKT, etc.).
9. Assist Associate Director/ Director of Medical Affairs to establish and maintain a robust methodology and process for the medical team.
10. Respond in a non-promotional manner, respond appropriately to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific information from HCP, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and code of practice.
11. Actively participate and attend medical congresses/ symposiums to keep abreast of new developments.
12. Organize and manage Scientific Advisory Board meetings to ensure scientific knowledge transfer, foster External Expert relationships, ensure scientific understanding and build appropriate advocacy
13. May assist with any other ad-hoc assignment as and when required.

Requirements:
? Bachelor degree in Clinical Medicine is required, master degree is preferable.
? Minimum of 5 years’ experience in foreign pharmaceutical companies or hospital or CRO industries, or in related fields.
? Basic understanding of Pharmacovigilance operation
? Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
? Proficiency in both verbal and written English & Mandarin.
? Excellent planning and organizational skills, with ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks.
? Self-motivated and self-starter with a demonstrable passion and energy for medical affairs.
? Specific product knowledge.
