The Medical Analytics & Reporting (MAR) Centre of Excellence (COE) Manager will work closely with key internal stakeholders (global, local and TA) to develop and deliver core reports in support of Medical strategic objectives. The role will lead a team of analysts, functionally aligned to key Medical domains, as well as the reporting infrastructure itself.
Responsibilities
- Manage MAR COE analyst team ensuring appropriate support and training is in place
- Develop team’s functional domain knowledge to become increasingly effective in role
- Drive team profile and stakeholder exposure to become trusted source of information
- Own and maintain BI tool for reporting hosting
- Develop and own strategy for Medical reporting standards and templates
- Promote reporting efficiencies and automation within the team and with stakeholders
- Engage with IT functions to ensure appropriate data is available to the team to support reporting requirements
- Partner with Medical Excellence and business platform owners to ensure data accuracy and appropriate analytics and reporting focus
- Responsible for data quality control in collaboration with IT and business
- Work with Medical business to ensure data integrity and accuracy in input systems (CRM, Medical Information, Evidence etc)
Education, Qualifications, and Experience
- 5+ years BI/Data Analysis experience
- B.S. or B.A degree in life science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Decision Support. Master degree is a plus.
- Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience
- Experience managing a team
- Experience in business performance or management reporting
- Experience in using advanced Excel and Power BI to produce global data analysis & dashboards
- Knowledge of IT data management
