As a Medical Data Specialist Intern, you will be responsible for: • You will collect imaging data from neurovascular treatment cases from an Angiographic Imaging Device, bin the acquired raw data given an “optimized & carved out workflow”. • You will handle anonymized patient imaging data • You will be able to support research projects by running new prototype software to help the physicians with their research analysis • You will retrospectively review cases and identify key points of the intervention and be able to document those findings • You will observe neuro-interventional angiography cases • You will choose and focus on a neuro-interventional procedure of interest and study the workflow for summarization to other staff members. • You will help with publications and abstracts alongside residents and fellows in the field of Neuro-interventional angiography. • You will be exposed to medical workflow and doctors in the field This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with the help of Siemens Healthineers • You have completed your first year of medical studies at the University of Tennessee (UT) in Memphis. • You are looking for some additional research projects during the break. • You have a good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) • You will be working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions • You have very good presentation and communication skills in the customer environment, and you show team orientation, communication skills and customer orientation • 3.0 GPA preferred Required skills to have for the success of this role • Must be actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree or higher • Enthusiasm to learn about Advanced Therapies in the Neurovascular arena • Willing to be flexible in the time spent on-site in order to support the research project At Siemens Healthineers, we value those who dedicate their energy and passion to a greater cause.
