Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support operations of analytical equipment and instruments according to established SOPs.
• Draft SOPs and initiate annual review.
• Monitor the performance of all laboratory procedures and provide review reports to Laboratory Manager.
• Review results and sign-off laboratory reports.
• Support and coordinate the research and development of new technologies.
• Maintain a good laboratory environment, stocks & inventory, and facilities.
• Handle ad-hoc duties assigned by Laboratory Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Part I registration of Medical Laboratory Technologist issued by HKMLT Board.
• Bachelor Degree of Higher Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biological Science or Life Science related disciplines.
• Working experience in molecular genetics for at least 2 years.
• Experience in team management will be an advantage.
• Good data analytical sense.
• Able to work under pressure, mature and a good team player.
• Good language skills, and familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word software.

Place and Hours of Employment:

• Office at the Shek Mun (Shatin District)
• Business travels are rare but occasionally required
• Office hours 9am – 6pm (Monday to Friday, and alternative Saturdays). No shifts and no duties on Sundays / public holidays
