The role

• Ensure pipeline success by supporting in-market medical and scientific research and education programs

The department
A team of experts from a wide range of disciplines, the Medical department advises and educates on the development of drugs for both existing and unmet patient needs. Focused on improving outcomes for every patient, and staying aware of competitors’ drug development, they deliver one of the most extensive pipelines in the industry. Working closely with external healthcare professionals, every conversation will be focused on patients – how to better meet their medical needs, build smoother supply lines and improve wider industry, policy and standards ecosystems.

Your skills
You need a relevant post-graduate qualification. However, most important will be your strong professional background in medical research, and minimum of three years in client-facing Clinical Development or Medical Affairs.

Native-fluency in Cantonese and English is essential. Beyond this, your extensive experience of the pharmaceutical industry will help you to quickly develop the relationships key to success. In particular, knowledge of osteoporosis, rheumatology or other metabolic bone diseases – or diabetes mellitus or other lifestyle related diseases – would give you instant credibility here.
