What you will do

• Identify, build, enhance and maintain the engagement with scientific leaders
• Develop or initiate educational scientific programs to explore unmet medical  needs in the CVRM disease area
• Act as scientific expert in the CVRM disease area by presenting therapeutic updates to external and internal stakeholders
• Develop and implement the External Expert engagement plan in collaboration with Therapeutic Area Lead.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for information about  AZ products or use of products, presenting such information in an objective, scientifically balanced, substantiated manner

Essential for the role

• Medical Doctor with specialty in Internal Medicine or Cardiology or Nephrology, or Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree or Ph.D. in health sciences is required
• Previous pharmaceutical industry experience (within Medical Affairs)
• Project management / cross-functional collaboration skills / execution
• Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory environment
• Availability to travel
• Fluent in Greek and English

Desirable for the role

• Experience in diabetes and/or nephrology and/or heart failure
