What you will do
- Identify, build, enhance and maintain the engagement with scientific leaders
- Develop or initiate educational scientific programs to explore unmet medical needs in the CVRM disease area
- Act as scientific expert in the CVRM disease area by presenting therapeutic updates to external and internal stakeholders
- Develop and implement the External Expert engagement plan in collaboration with Therapeutic Area Lead.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for information about AZ products or use of products, presenting such information in an objective, scientifically balanced, substantiated manner
Essential for the role
- Medical Doctor with specialty in Internal Medicine or Cardiology or Nephrology, or Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree or Ph.D. in health sciences is required
- Previous pharmaceutical industry experience (within Medical Affairs)
- Project management / cross-functional collaboration skills / execution
- Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory environment
- Availability to travel
- Fluent in Greek and English
Desirable for the role
- Experience in diabetes and/or nephrology and/or heart failure
