Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the newly installed analyzers to the standard of laboratory accreditation requirement;
- Verify the HIS / LIS system in the Pathology Laboratory;
- Set up the quality system in the Pathology Laboratory;
- Coordinate with section in order to work out a quality system in the Department;
- Assist the Senior Medical Technologist for some managerial role and monitoring the inventory system in the Laboratory;
- Assist to train all staff either in Pathology and Clinical for operating and maintaining the analyzers; and
- Handle other duties assigned by supervisors
Job Requirements
- A Master degree in Medical Laboratory Science or other related disciplines;
- A valid certificate of Registration (Part I) and Practising Certificate issued by the Medical Laboratory Technologists Board of HK
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience of working as shift duties in an accredited clinical laboratory;
- Experience in formulating the standard operation procedure is preferred;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Proficient in MS Office applications
