Job Title: Membership Associate

Report to: Membership Assistant Manager

Position Objective: This position primary goal is to maintain existing members and increase new members to AmCham Shanghai and provide good service to our members. This position also provides administrative support to membership department.

Key roles and responsibilities:

¨ Respond to membership related inquiries including joining, renewing, transfer, benefits and services by phone, email and walking-in

¨ Track and follow through on new member applications and data entry of membership records

¨ Prepare by-weekly and monthly new member list

¨ Perform database searches and compile reports as instructed by the Membership Assistant Manager

¨ Perform all member information updates on the AmCham Shanghai database

¨ Order and distribute of new member card and information package

¨ Check the balance account for new members with finance department on monthly basis

¨ Administer filing of all new application and membership renewal hard copy documents

¨ Attend new member mixer to help greet members and distribute orientation packages

¨ Prepare for the new member orientation packages on a quarterly basis

¨ Export member information for Insight distribution, track and follow through on them as well

¨ Calculate department courier expense on monthly basis

¨ Ad hoc membership department duties as assigned by the Membership Assistant Manager

Qualifications:

¨ Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism

¨ Fluent Chinese and English, both oral & written

¨ Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

¨ Strong data analysis skills

¨ Ability to use CRM

¨ Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

¨ Strong attention to details

¨ Sale skill is a plus
