Develops embedded software within environments that have constrained timing and memory resources, designs and implements reusable code, performs design and code reviews, as well as tests and validates product implementations.
Job may require experience in system architecture and modeling, operating systems, device architecture, system integration, algorithm modeling, digital signal processing, and/or hardware design. Works with a variety of storage interface standards.
Performs system level design modeling, and systems integration, additionally performing algorithm modeling, benchmarking implementation, and/or digital signal processing.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experiences and or school work/classes/research.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of experience OR a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of experience.
Experience with Memory IP, memory initialization firmware, memory Ecosystem enabling in a development, verification, or validation capacity
3+ years of experience coding in C or C++
3+ years of experience in Software (SW) architecture, design and debugging
1+ years of experience in software engineering development process, project life cycle, and PC operating systems
3+ years developing high-quality software
Preferred Qualifications:
Embedded Firmware development, validation, or verification
Programming in C, C++
Computer Architecture
Reading and interpreting technical specs and Register Transfer Level (RTL) code
Linux or UNIX expertise
Hands-on Debug experience
Verification/Validation Techniques and Methods
Intermediate to Advanced English level
