Managing the warehouse Operations (together with 3PL):
- Provide and ensure effective and efficient operational logistics management of parts in order to ensure the agreed level of performance and service in the delivery and return processes of parts.
- Establish and manage warehouse processes for receiving, binning, picking, packing, claim and return processes.
- Negotiate together with IPS and GSP/OGI warehouse operations conditions and prices with forwarders, control 3PL performance and costs.
- Planning, steering and controlling of the necessary IT support and maintenance of building and equipment.

Transportation Management:
- Define transportation needs and strategy together with GSP Logistics and markets/regions.
- Negotiate together with IPS and GSP/OGI transportation conditions and prices with forwarders, control transportation performance and costs.
- Monitor inbound transportation to Japan and outbound transportation to dealers, discuss deviations and countermeasures with providers

Continuous Improvement of the Logistics Center:
- Further development of systems and processes in co-operation with GSP Logistics and market according to all local safety, health and other regulations.
- Establish a continuous improvement philosophy and develop/implement best practice approaches in order to achieve efficiency targets and changing market requirements.
- Ensure transparent communication of these best practice approaches around organization GSP/OG.
- Ensure that the efficiency targets are met.
Human Resource Development:
- Lead, motivate and develop allocated employees by target agreements and performance evaluations based on the corporate mission statement.
- Ensure target-oriented internal communication and task related qualification to achieve the targets.
- Motivate and develop a learning culture with emphasis on the continuous improvement of processes.
- Select new employees in alignment with the supervisor, ensure, and accompany their onboarding.
- Inform assigned employees about and direct them to comply with valid regulations.
Planning, Monitoring and Controlling of Turnover, Lines, Costs and Performance:
- Annual operative planning and OP-controlling in cooperation with FMS, GSP and markets/regions.
- Work out targets based of planning parameters and own evaluation, prepare as input for target agreement with supervisor.
- Assess deviations via business analyses and ensure target achievement by initiating appropriate countermeasures to achieve a high service level) with adequate cost situation and ensure that logistics performance KPIs are met.
- I nitiate efficient management processes also by controlling and reporting statistics.
