Merchandise / Purchase Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Develop, execute and communicate strategic merchandise financial plans and strategies that support the merchandising, marketing and financial objectives of one or more departments. Drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory and bottom line profitability.
Language: Fluency in English is a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
OPERATIONS/FINANCIAL:
1) Manage the success of one or more departments by meeting sales, gross margin, gross margin return on investment (GMROI) and inventory turn goals.
2) Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department and class.
3) Collaborate with merchandising to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities by department and class.
4) Create pre-season sales, gm, and inventory plans by department and class that support product strategies.
5) Reconcile top-down to bottom-up class plans.
6) Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan, and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis.
7)Identify risks and opportunities to business and recommend strategies to achieve financial goals.
8) Re-forecast sales and manage inventory for all basic styles to meet department financial goals.
9) Participate in company and brand initiatives as appropriate.
COMMUNICATION:
1) Communicate financial results, forecasts, and action plans to manager and cross-functional team on a weekly basis.
2)Present financial plans, forecasts and strategies in key meetings.
3) Communicate standards and performance expectations to direct reports in a timely manner.
PEOPLE LEADERSHIP/RELATIONSHIPS:
1) Support a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment with peers and cross-functional team.
2) Provide manager with timely feedback on personal developmental and training needs.
3)Actively participate in new hire training.
4)Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, share best-practices and develop systems knowledge.
ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:
1) Develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of cross-functional team (merchandising, distribution, visual, production, planning, company planning).
2) Develop cross-divisional relationships to share best practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1)Able to negotiate with and influence peers and members of cross-functional team
2) Able to build and maintain productive relationships with peers and cross-functional teams
3)Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
4) Able to formally present business strategies and action plans
5) Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills,sensitive to data analysis.
6) Possesses a clear understanding of financial measurements which could include; sales, gross margin, gross margin return on investment, weeks on hand (WOH), weeks of supply (WOS), etc. and how to impact them
7) Facility with personal computers, including the ability or aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
8) Proficient with Microsoft Excel
9) Language: Fluency in English is a must, Mandarin preferred and Shanhaigese/Japanese a plus.
2. Minimum educational level:
above Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in fashion, kidswear, textile or baby products required
3. Previous experience desired:
above 5 years experience as a Planner or equivalent
above 5 years of retail buying, planning or related analytical experience

2、调查竞争品牌的产品策略,结合市场情况与品牌发展战略制定每季产品企划大纲;
3、新品计划:对所负责的品类进行市场分析,掌握市场情况,提出新产品开发方案。
4、产品开发:对产品的设计、开发、包装、渠道、定价、上市等过程进行监控。
5、产品管理:定期对所负责的产品进行市场调研与分析,提出产品优化方案;
跟进产品市场表现,根据销售情况及时做出调整; 规划和确定产品线结构和产品价格,包括:产品组合、类别结构、产品价格、产品线深度及库存管理等;
6、培训课件:编写各类产品培训文件,根据需要不断精进,并进行内外部客户的相关宣导培训,参与市场和销售推广活动,确定促销主题,组织推荐产品技术特点及卖点;
7、活动方案:包括门店活动方案、会员节庆活动、会员季度大型活动、新品上市期促销方案、库存处理产品消化方案等。
8、团队协作:与相关部门(供应链、设计、销售)等沟通与协调。
9、部门领导安排的其他工作;
任职要求:
1、本科或以上学历,市场营销或工商管理相关专业;
2、5年以上商品企划或时尚买手经验,服装或家纺行业优先;
3、对市场及流行趋势有一定的敏锐度,熟悉新产品开发流程;
4、较强的数理分析能力、沟通协调能力,思维清晰,团队合作精神佳。
5、英语6级以上,具备国际视野。
