Mission: To follow inquiries and to insure a healthy development and production follow up

Responsibilities:

• Collect, check and analyse enquiries from local and foreign offices

• Support and providing good suppliers selection and technical advises as per purchasing strategy

• Ensure right sample, price and production schedule is provided and accurate

• Follow-up production closely with suppliers and China teams.

• Report regularly to Management

  
  

  Main activities:

  New project development :

• Collect all information and analyse before contacting with factories

• Make final decision on which factory to work with as per Management purchasing strategy

• Control all quotations details, samples and information sent by factories

• First Negotiation before sending all to other offices if needed

• Ensure good communication between company and suppliers

• Advise on technic but also strategy

• Support on all type of negotiation

• Involve technical team when needed

  Order follow-up :

• Ensure good follow-up with both factory and technical team

• Make sure all new information is well provided to technical staff and production schedule well followed

• Help technical team when need negotiation

• Communicate well between factory and company

• Follow-up order until shipment

  Suppliers Sourcing and Analyse :

• Maintain good relationship with current suppliers

• Visit and meet with suppliers on a regular basis

• Develop and present pro-actively new suppliers when needed and when approved by Management

• Communicate to foreign offices on supplier`s new items and new ideas

  Financial :

• support foreign offices in negotiation of price and payment terms

  
  

  Job Requirements:

• min. 5 years’ experience in merchandising or product development experience

• Independent, responsible and self-motivated

• Well organized and able to work independently

• Excellent time management, good negotiation and problem solving skills

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Good communication skills, pleasant and open minded personality and can work with tight deadlines
