GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Manage and lead the team to ensure effective order progressing and tracking activities for on-going orders. Manage the product development process by enhancing the team productivity and efficiency to achieve the targets in terms of on-time deliveries, on-time sampling, claim ratio, leadtime, price targets and turnover.

MAIN TASKS

? Facilitate price negotiation between suppliers and buyers and follow up buyers on order confirmation.

? Monitor sample development and production to meet buyer requirements.

? Monitor and progress each critical stage throughout the order tracking process.

? Monitor capacity booking follow up per process.

? Activity visit supplier on a regular basis.

PROFILE OF THE HOLDER

? Higher Diploma in Textile / University graduate; 5-6 years relevant work experience

? Sound technical knowledge in garment/yarn construction, washing etc in the respective product areas up to a level to be able to assess production comments/quality and make competent decisions on alternatives.

? Sound experience in costing, sourcing of trims & accessories and production tracking activities.

? Computer literate.

? Good command of English.

? Able to negotiate and maintain rapport with suppliers.

? Able to progress, prioritize, delegate and monitor work activities.

? Able to diagnose problems, consider in different perspectives and make objective decision/recommendation.

? Provide clear guidance, coaching and monitoring of staff.

? Strong task oriented training.
