Position: Senior Merchandiser - Hardgoods (Furniture)

Work Location: Dongmen, Shenzhen

Responsibilities:

• Managing product development in aspect of sourcing, production, inspection and delivery for furniture and home textile products;
  

• Process product inquiries, price quotation, bench-marking and negotiation;

• Sourcing new vendors via trade show and factory visit to build a strong business relationship network;

• Communicating with compliance/quality department and labs for product testing to meet import standards;

• Monitoring order placement and ensure it meets the required specification, quality and lead-time.

Requirements:

• University graduate with minimum 3 years’ solid experience in related areas;

• Proven experience as specialist in the captioned categories;

• Proactive, dynamic, flexible and creative in offering new products and business solutions

• Able to work independently / recommend and implement solutions when necessary.

• Strong analytical and PC skills.

• Good command in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
