Job Summary:

I am a key part of the sourcing team, constantly reviewing the performance of our supplier partners to ensure we are able to source great quality products from world class factories in order to deliver the Sourcing Priorities as set out in the product strategy for my category.

In this job, I am accountable for:

• Day to day monitoring of the critical path for exceptions, working collaboratively with technical and Order Management colleges, and escalating to the Senior Merchandiser/Sourcing Manager any risks.
• Working alongside the Senior Merchandiser / Sourcing Manager / Senior Sourcing Manager I assist with the product sourcing of Buying Briefs received from the Head of Global Sourcing.
• The preparation of buying trips including set up of meetings with our Supplier partners.
• Maintenance and uploading of data, including supplier, factory & product information.
• Work collaboratively with suppliers in order to negotiate the best cost prices.
• Day to day contact with our Supplier partners to ensure they remain on track to deliver against our Critical Path.
• Working in partnership with Suppliers and factories to build great relationships that encourage trust and loyalty.
