Job Summary:
I’m a key part of the team, having end-to-end accountability of products, sourcing and delivering the relevant range plan so that we produce the right product at the right time ensuring our customers can buy great quality products at the best price.
In this job, I am accountable for:
Leading & developing the supply base and visiting factories
Managing the new Supplier process
Working closely with Suppliers to understand the capacity of their factories and agree to glass ceilings
Ensuring that the supply base does not have any technical or ethical non compliances
Working with Designer to ensure sample with right features
Negotiating prices
Checking order confirmation sheets for accuracy
Planning, doing and reviewing Buying Trips
Working with Autex/Buyer‘s planner and Suppliers to ensure accurate Purchase Order creation
Critical path management, following up orders, production and shipments to ensure products can be produced and delivered on time
Managing change requests to ensure orders and shipments are being handled accordingly and updated in the relevant systems in a timely manner
Liaising with the Buying Team on all approvals
Escalating key issues to the Merchandiser Manager
Following our Business Code of Contact & always acting with integrity and due diligence

Working collaboratively with colleagues within my team and with Suppliers to build trusted partnerships
