Job Description

ARENA Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is having the following open position and is looking for talent people to join its structure.


As part of commercial team, communicate with colleagues of his/her own team, also with Production Planning and QA teams on order follow-up, packaging review/approval, sample tracking status, inspection and on-time shipment tracking, as well as assistance and coordination in the Asian buying trip.


Mainly responsible for below commercial activities:


  • Assist outdoor team and coordinate with Production Planning and QA team on the daily work, such as keeping clear record for order details in company's systems for documentation, coordination, review and analysis;


  • Communicate with vendors and internal parties for daily order follow up and updates, coach and supervise vendors for on-time delivery of samples, paper documents and ordered goods;


  • Communicate with clients for sampling, PO/PI, packaging and delivery schedule;


  • Closely monitor the order documents, vendor’s packaging, production, inspection and shipment status;


  • Need to have sense of urgency and call out for any potential shipment delay and do anything proactively to ensure the on-time shipment;


  • Handle special projects/assignments when needed.


Requirements


  • Good command of spoken and written English;


  • Familiar with outdoor products (such as garden furniture, decorative accessories) in European market or North American market;


  • Bachelor degree in foreign trade preferred;


  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience;


  • Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded;


  • Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties (overseas clients);


  • Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, with problem solving skills, able to meet deadlines required;


  • Good at Microsoft office programs;
