Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Optimization Manager is a key role of WSI drop ship (DS) business function. He /She is responsible for leading the China Drop Ship team to well manage DTC (direct to customer) PO lifecycle and work with American and global vendors. He /She works in conjunction with US Sourcing, Inventory and Customer service team to improve customer experience with our company and build the scalability of DS business growth.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Purchase Order Management

  • Daily order status follow-up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and provide order visibility to related team.
  • Manage PO, PO cancellation and PO exceptions.
  • Manage all escalations and summarize as reports.
  • Maintain long term relationships with vendors and monitor vendor performance.
  • Work closely with WSI cooperated business function in US to achieve the common operations goals.

Process and System

  • Improve and upgrade the current process to better serve the needs.
  • Managing all the new system immigration from current ones
  • Support vendors to get trained and equipped with the new technology.

Supply Chain Optimization

  • Created analytical reports based on operational activities, system errors, PO escalation trends, customer needs to support the optimization.
  • Implement and optimize the Supply Chain processes in related to order management, transportation and systems.
  • Through supply chain optimization to improve Customer Satisfaction.

Performance Management

  • Based on the company strategy and targets, create PO management work goals and break down detailed and trackable KPIs to team member.
  • Checking vendor dashboard to measure and improve vendor performance.
  • Make DS stakeholders performance measurable.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

Knowledge

The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

  • 8 years of practical experience including 5 years of management role

  • Preferred experience working with or for a Retailer

  • Knowledge of overseas sourcing

  • Working experience in ecommerce merchandising is a plus

  • Familiar with supply Chain process and US retailor SPO management
