Job Description
- Degree holder
- 8 - 10 years of experience in Trims, minimum 3 yearsanaging people.
- Excellent verbal and written in English and Mandarin.
- Support Merchandising Director and work collaboratively with Home Office Sourcing team to develop and execute strategies.
- Weekly meetings with Home Office Trims team to download upcoming directions, trims design concepts, setup workflows to support the direction accordingly.
- Lead Trims development in sourcing appropriate materials based on designs and requirements hand-off from Home office team
- Monitor the timely approval and receipt of all trims in accordance with development calendar, including trims color.
- Trims production planning on major programs as needed.
- Identify resolution for issues from SMS and Production.
- Collaborate with QA team, provide directions to quality issue as needed.
- Provide guidelines and directions, handle trims inquiries from apparel vendors.
- Analyze pricing and negotiate with trims suppliers for major programs to support house margins.
- Identify potential suppliers to establish wide range of source base.
- New supplier on-board orientation.
