Job Description
  • Degree holder
  • 8 - 10 years of experience in Trims, minimum 3 yearsanaging people.
  • Excellent verbal and written in English and Mandarin.
  • Support Merchandising Director and work collaboratively with Home Office Sourcing team to develop and execute strategies.
  • Weekly meetings with Home Office Trims team to download upcoming directions, trims design concepts, setup workflows to support the direction accordingly.
  • Lead Trims development in sourcing appropriate materials based on designs and requirements hand-off from Home office team
  • Monitor the timely approval and receipt of all trims in accordance with development calendar, including trims color.
  • Trims production planning on major programs as needed.
  • Identify resolution for issues from SMS and Production.
  • Collaborate with QA team, provide directions to quality issue as needed.
  • Provide guidelines and directions, handle trims inquiries from apparel vendors.
  • Analyze pricing and negotiate with trims suppliers for major programs to support house margins.
  • Identify potential suppliers to establish wide range of source base.
  • New supplier on-board orientation.
