The role has the following responsibilities: Responsible for the technical support of the manufacturing areas and product efficiency improvements. Determine production operation standards and personal and equipment required to accomplished customers. Attain manufacturing excellence goals, in safety, quality and cost. Drive continuous improvement and provide technical support to the manufacturing areas. Determine production operation standards, personnel and equipment required to fulfill customer needs and expectations. Ensure implementation of continuous improvement tools, identify capital projects and drive changes in facilities to arrive to Model Plant status. 1. Maintain ISO14000 certification 2. Responsible to coordinate and supervise the Manufacturing Engineers 3. Manage Process Engineering area to attain manufacturing excellence. 4. Plan, direct and coordinate actions to support production processes to assure attainment of operations goals. 5. Provide direction through direct involvement in order to implement manufacturing of new processes and products. 6. Follow up continuous improvement activities in the operation. 7. Plan, develop and implement goals for: Safety, Health and Environmental Impact Improvement, Customer Orientation, Excelling quality, Outstanding profitability, Cost-out 8. Develop strategies for optimization of the production layouts #LI-MM3 Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor degree of Industrial, Electric, Electromechanical Engineer (or similar positions) Minimum of 5-7 of experience at similar positions. Bilingual (English/Spanish) PC knowledge: Auto Cad, Access, and Microsoft Office. Project Management Knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred Lead auditor ISO 9001 preferred.
