Summary This position will be responsible for primarily supporting Purchasing Operations for LATAM, Canada, and APAC. This individual will need to be able to develop and execute P2P strategies, drive complex projects, manage supplier relationships and support and drive key projects to improve service levels .   Key responsibilities include: -

• Position requires a high degree of independent thinking and initiative and proactiveness. Must have the ability and interest to learn how to work effectively with new hardware, software, and data; the initiative and resourcefulness to search for solutions and new knowledge on how to achieve a desired result; and independent thinking to prioritize the workload and determine how to best accomplish various tasks.
• Preferable strong knowledge of purchase-to-pay practices, purchasing, accounts payable, finance and accounting processes.
• Must possess strong analytical skills, be assertive, and demonstrate initiative when investigating issues to recommend simple and quick solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, work under pressure, and follow through with assigned tasks with limited supervision
• Drive Standardized process across regions
• Have effective interpersonal skills and judgment to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations
• Perform analytical work supporting business objectives at varying levels of complexity to bring simplistic on their solutions.
• Develop standard reports, including scorecard, to communicate KPI performance to various levels with the organization
• Train and develop users in the utilization of Coupa and BSM
• Research, compile and assemble data and assist users in the preparation of various reports
• Provide technical support to application users
• Have skills of oversee a team and has leadership skills to develop personnel, have decision making skills, that are rapid and simple to put in place. Needs to be able to coordinate and manager groups and different projects and groups involved.

 - Utilizes a network of benchmarking peers to drive for Best Demonstrated Practices (BDP). - Minimum of a completed High School Diploma or GED with 5-10+ years of recent IT purchasing, procurement, contract & supplier management experience. Bachelor's Degree in Business with 3-5 years of recent P2P expeience, procurement, contract & supplier management experience, preferred. - Ability to think strategically and globally - Experience presenting to and working with senior management  - Excellent project management, facilitation, interpersonal and negotiation skills - Financial acumen; high degree of ethics - Ability to build strategic supplier and stakeholder relationships - Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment - Contract Analysis/Legal Experience desirable - Software skills: Microsoft Word, Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups, Macros, reporting), PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Outlook, etc. A Career That Matters Baxter’s employees are united in a mission to save and sustain lives.
