Key responsibilities :

• Conduct basic laboratory testing according to standard operating procedures with supervision;
• Record, present, store and maintain the test data in the required format accurately;
• Calculate simple scientific quantities; identify and report the abnormal patterns timely;
• Collect samples aseptically using specified equipment and standard procedures;
• Prepare the samples ready and fit for testing by applying suitable technique;
• Perform simple equipment calibration (e.g. pipette);
• Apply appropriate statistical techniques in sampling and monitor and verify the sampling process in accordance with the sampling;
• Handle microorganisms, media, chemicals, solutions and reagents safely;
• Follow customer requirements and prepare laboratory materials, equipment and facilities required for carrying out microbiology;
• Liable to stand by or perform the job duties of other colleagues including those with lower grade
• Perform other duties / tasks as required

Requirements :

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor in Microbiology, Biology science / cell molecular or any discipline in related;
• Experience in microbiological testing on food, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical products is preferred
• Fresh graduate is also welcome
